The Chinese version of minestrone soup, which we called ABC is the mixed vegetable soup. It’s easy to prepare and nutritional as well… Best of all, kids love it!

Darrius loves to bite on the soft carrot pieces and I gave him rice soaked in the soup so I don’t have to cook his normal porridge.

Hi Angeleyes,

A search on the web for abc soup brought me to foodnotes and boy, what a discovery on the many ideas for simple home cooking.

I have ‘suffered’ for the last 3 mths due to my 1st pregnancy and lose nearly 6 lbs. Away from home (PJ original) and extended help, here I am alone with hubby in the US and missing home-cooked food esp during this period and lack creativity and energy to muster much nutritious cooking.

Will definitely check your website regularly. What stands out to me is most of your recipes are easy to cook and the ingredients easy to get here.

Thanks for sharing. And Darius is really cute looking.
